Contractors Can Access Information, Order Supplies

AKRON, Ohio – Owner operators affiliated with FedEx Custom Critical can order supplies online, view logo item and apparel catalogs and read the latest safety information on a new Web site designed exclusively for their use. The password-protected extranet site, called “My Account,” also gives FedEx Custom Critical contractors convenient access to information about the company, including lists of fuel stations and hotels where FedEx Custom Critical owner operators and their drivers are entitled to receive discounts.
“Many FedEx Custom Critical contractors use the World Wide Web at home and on the road,” said Virginia Albanese, managing director of service and safety. “The My Account site was developed based on their feedback and suggestions, giving them 24-hour online access to the features and information they need to plan their road trips.”
My Account is available to FedEx Custom Critical contractors through the company’s Web site at www.fedexcustomcritical.com. It features three major sections:
- Doing Business, a reference guide to transporting expedited
freight for
FedEx Custom Critical. - Road Tools, which provides links to sites with road maps, weather forecasts, traffic reports, safety resources and more.
- Off-Road Tools, which includes company news, event listings and links to local news sites.
